About the AI-Integrated Pro Advanced Diploma in Medical Coding
Medical coding is the process of converting a patient’s diagnoses, procedures and services into standard codes made of letters and numbers. These codes support accurate billing, insurance claims and health records. To work in this field, you need to know the code sets and also how to apply them correctly to real medical records.
The AI-Integrated Pro Advanced Diploma in Medical Coding is built to give you that skill. It starts with medical terminology (prefix, suffix, word root and combining form) and the anatomy and physiology of the major body systems. It then moves into advanced coding training: ICD-10-CM general and chapter-specific guidelines, CPT, HCPCS and modifiers.
You also learn medical billing and CPC certification training. This includes the CPC exam scoring system, practice question papers, time management through timed practice, mock exams and special classes for exam preparation.
The program also includes 1 to 2 months of non-technical training. Communication, teamwork, emotional intelligence, time management, corporate and business etiquette, resume and cover-letter writing, interview skills and LinkedIn profile building prepare you for the move from study to workplace.
